Seek the Lord

Seek the Lord always;
Seek the Lord.
No matter how lazy we feel,
Pray; Read the Scriptures.

Our feelings are deceitful
But His Words never lie.
We may be feeling drained now
But the Lord will sure restore the fire.

The Lord is faithful.
The Lord gives grace.
Fill your mind with His Truth,
And anchor your feelings on it.

Psalm 103:8

Christ crucified,

Mortifies wicked hearts.

Christ enjoyed,

Removes carnal desires.

Graces abounding,

Love that never fails.

New mercies each morning;

His anger, slow to prevail.

Living Water: A Poem

Living in this fallen world,
Where everything is tainted by sin,
There is water that's able to cleanse,
And that water is You.
A water that can quench my thirst,
And that water is You.

I was doomed,
Certain of what I deserved.
Yet Your mercy and grace abound;
You gave me water that will save me forever.
A water that I don't deserve to have,

'Cause that water is You.

You, O Lord, are the Living Water;
You are the One who gives life to me.
A life that's not limited to this world,
A life that's not known by the world.
You are the water that will satisfy me forever;
Life eternal is what You have to offer.
